Nottinghamshire
Bordering to the east Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire to the north-west, to the west Derbyshire, and Leicestershire to the south, Nottinghamshire (pronounced /ˈnɒtɪŋəmʃər/ or /-ʃɪər/; abbreviated Notts.) is an East Midlands region county. A unitary authority, remaining part of Nottinghamshire for ceremonial purposes, between 1974 and 1988, the City of Nottingham was administratively part of Nottinghamshire.
